DD will have just turned 4 when she starts in a couple of years. I went to full day preschool before that. Kinder was half day K and then half day program at old preschool.</p> <p>As a teacher, I'll be honest, I wish there was more restrictions on both ends of the spectrum.... every year I have students that are a full 2 years apart. I had a bad start to my schooling years because I went to private preschool and kindergarten and learned to read and do other things and when I went to public first grade, I was so bored. I hated school for years and it really affect my entire school career.
