I'm torn about it, honestly. I know that we're done, but what if I die and he remarries? Or for some big, huge reason we decide we need to have more children? The second one happened to a couple I know after their younger child died at the age of 5, and now they have a daughter in college, and three more children under the age of 4. I don't think age would make a difference in these questions, though. I just know that we feel done. I have an IUD and my doctor won't do anything permanent for 5 years post-baby (so, until this IUD expires). We're comfortable with this for now, but will eventually have my husband snipped.
