I meal plan each week, and I usually buy a small variety of snacks for the week and those are what I choose from. This week however sickness has ruled out house and we have been living off MIL's soup and DH running to the store for random things. We need to make a list, but honestly the thought of that much food makes me sick to think about. This week could be rough.

I plan all my dinners save for maybe a day or two and typically eat leftovers for lunch. I usually have the same thing for breakfast everyday. Meal planning is good! It leaves less room for error, I know on the weeks when I wing it I typically buy too much food and end up going out to eat anyway :)

I am a super meal planner. And i am a big proponent of it while losing weight and/or trying to save myself time during the week. it is incredibly effective for me and the surefire way I can meet all my macronutrient requirements for the day. After awhile, it totally becomes second nature. I know what I'm having for lunch, even now, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, because I make an egg bake for the week, I take leftovers for lunch, and my dinners are totally planned out. And the night before, I plan out my snacks. I have to pack them therefore I have to know what I'm bringing, right? :) I really hate to be caught at work, hungry, without food. So i plan accordingly and bring what I know I'm going to need! My eating is pretty predictable at this point: bfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner.

Anyways. Not crazy. You'll find that the most successful people (as far as losing weight go) do this, and find it's critical to success.

If it works, then great! I eat the same breakfast every. single. day of my life, and I love it, honestly. Some people just thrive on routine and on plans.

I do but I'm also a creature of habit and eat pretty much the exact same thing every weekday for breakfast and lunch! So that makes it pretty easy.

Not at all.
We're vegetarians and I don't buy junk. But I don't plan meals. My husband works late, so it's just me & DS for dinner. I could probably eat more, but dinner is healthy.

I bought a years worth of meal plans. It includes a grocery list and prep list. It's super convenient! I don't plan out my breakfast in much detail and usually eat leftovers or a salad for lunch.

I've been meal planning dinners for a while but since I've started trying to eat healthier and lose weight, I've found I plan every single meal for mself (down to snacks!) on Sunday, and make minor adjustments throughout the week. So far, I really like it but I've never been so organized!!
Anyone else do this? Or am I crazy? :silly: any good tips?
