Then when i went to put a regular pair of pants on that I had packed in my hospital bag (dumb I know) I couldn't for the life of me figure out whyyyy they wouldn't go up past my thighs!! He asked me at least 4 times when I was going to have my LO while pointing to my belly! When I told him the infant I was holding was mine, he replied "Oh, that's just the leftovers", referencing my lovely physique. After giving birth all my organs were just hanging out because my stomach muscles had all separated, and the belly bandit pushed them back in. I think it may have helped squeeze some of the water weight out too. It would have taken months for the swelling to go back down otherwise, I think. Caveat though that it is not the most comfortable thing; it would get hot and sweaty and I am short so the end would cut into either my ribs or my hip bones. But I still think it was worth it and I would use it again, but I have to have a c section this time and it would hit right at the incision so I don't think I can.
