Ended up back at re and tried clomid and iui, another early loss and many bfn cycles, quit re to move and got out sticky baby that cycle. So two losses before each.<br /> Third child got pregnant first month trying and lost it to a trisomy at 11w. Just had my third bfn cycle post my d&amp;c. TTC #1 I had PCOS, never ovulated on my own, took about 1 year or taking Provera every CD45, and then finally on the 1st round of Clomid I got pregnant.</p> <p>With #2, I got pregnant the 1st cycle after weaning from breastfeeding! I ended up miscarrying at 8 weeks, but then again, I didn't even get a period, and about 4 weeks after I miscarried I got pregnant again. With my first I went off BC and my period was really irregular for several months and I don't think I was ovulating at all. After about 7-8 months things started to regulate and I had an early mc after 10 months and then pregnant with LO1 right around a year in.<br /> LO2, I never went on bc and we really didn't prevent. I was nursing and had 1 instance of spotting 10 months pp then pregnant a month later.<br /> Lo3, we only ttc one cycle. Despite having a few regular cycles once I got my period back, that one I ovulated late. I had mild PCOS and needed to start a low-glycemic index diet, use methods to increase CM, and chart my cycles to figure out when I was ovulating. </p> <p>#2 we were pregnant on the second cycle after IUD removal. It took 8 cycles of very well-timed intercourse and/or insemination to get pregnant with LO. </p> <p>This time around I got pregnant on my second cycle despite so-so timing. That pregnancy miscarried, and I got pregnant again before getting a post-miscarriage period (also only so-so timing). Highlights of both:</p> <p>First time:<br /> pregnant first month we tried, MC at 7 weeks<br /> pregnant 2nd month we tried after first MC, ended in another MC. Discovered my translocation. Was advised to do IVF with PGD.<br /> First cycle of IVF was textbook and perfect. 13 eggs retrieved. got one normal embryo out of 8 tested. That's my now 2.75yo. In total took 1 year to conceive him. </p> <p>2nd time:<br /> Straight to IVF.<br /> First round: very poor response, ended up retrieving 6. No normals.<br /> 2nd round: still poor response, 8 retrieved with no normals. RE strongly suggested donor eggs.<br /> 3rd round: tried one last time on new protocol and ended up with 17 retrieved and 2 normals!<br /> Accidentally got pregnant on my own before transfer and ended in chemical.<br /> One year later and I'm now very very newly pregnant from a transfer 2 weeks ago. </p> <p>So total amount of time was same I guess, but very different series of events leading up to it.
