I was crushed at first largely because it had been 2+ years of trying but was able to refocus on next steps. It’s differnt but we had to wait a cycle in between before trying again. So essentially that was a period, I had one more, and then I transferred before the next. Luckily me, I have long cycles so it was actually a long time. For me it wasn’t different seeming than a normal period which are already heavy. I hope you're able to feel at peace about it eventually.</p> <p>I had a confirmed chemical in Sept while NTNP. I was pregnant again as of January but miscarried in Feb (6 weeks). Got my period in March and am now 7 weeks pregnant. So, I've been able to get pregnant fairly easily but staying pregnant has been the problem.</p> <p>For me, I started feeling better with some time and distance. I'm due in August. My friend though had two chemicals over the same of 5 months but finally got pregnant her 6th month. My cycles were also pretty long at this point. I was seeing an RE and doing clomid and femara and it was taking my ovaries forever make eggs. There's few things I enjoy less than first trimester, and it absolutely sucks to have to go through it (and the aftermath) repeatedly to get a viable pregnancy. The last one was good and was separated from loss #4 by one bfn cycle. Two of the four duds were known genetically abnormal -- so there's no way that waiting longer would have given a better outcome. I conceived my oldest on the cycle right after the second one. My second, about 3-4 cycles after one. I’ve always had issues but I think it got longer with age, I had a later loss with my third and then it took a lot longer to get another healthy pregnancy. So much is just luck. </p> <p>It’s hard but to some degree it’s a numbers game once you’re older.
