DS went though a daddy phase when he was @ 1 year old. From 18 months to now (about to turn two) he has had a strong mommy preference. This morning he only wanted daddy, so maybe things are going to change?

All mommy, all the time. She's fine with daddy when I'm not around or she can't see me- like if I go to the other room to lay down, she might cry or whine for a minute, but then is happy with dad even though she remembers in still home. But if I'm around she wants me.

@lovehoneybee: C not only announces that I'm going potty while I'm doing so, if we are out and use a public restroom, she keeps announcing it to people we pass. Today she told no less than 3 Marshall's employees that "mommy go potty!" Thanks, kiddo. Or if we are waiting outside a bathroom for someone she announces that each person going in or out is going potty.

lo has a huuuge mama preference. I try to get her to go to dh, but it doesn't work. like, last night she was asking me to read books, and I would read it through and then tell her to take it to dada. she'd take it to him, he'd read 1 page, and then she grabbed it and brought it back to me. she did that like 4 times in a row. so sad! poor dh! (also poor me, having to read the same books over and over and over, lol ;) )

My DS bounces back and forth between us, and when he doesn't want one of us, we hear all about it (he is 6 months almost). He's currently on a daddy kick, but last week it was all mommy all the time.

@lovehoneybee: LOL @ your bathroom comment. DS always asks for a hug when I'm in there. So weird!! He never asks DH for one.

DS was team mommy until he was about 18 months then he was team daddy for a bit. Now, it's pretty even, but he's slightly more team mommy than daddy.

DS has been team mommy since the day he was born. Still going strong at 2.5 years later!
DD is a daddy's girl, but loves us equally :)

No doubt he's Team Mommy. He'll go to his dad sometimes when I ask him to, and he's fine with dad when I'm not around, but otherwise he's all about me. If D is home wanting to do something with him while I'm trying to nap, he suddenly wants to nap. Or get in the shower with me. Or cheerlead while I use the bathroom...

My daughter has had a mild daddy preference for a while, but lately she has been switching teams to her mom! Have to admit, it stings a bit when she rejects me when I'm doing her bath or bedtime routine. She usually prefers whichever parent she's spending more time with, but since that's been pretty balanced these days... her preference is pretty unstable these days. Usually during the week she prefers me, but on weekends she will ask for her mother.
