Her Bday is July 12, and over the July 4 weekend, we flew to my family's house and celebrated with them there. And then end of July, we flew to DH's family and celebrated her birthday a second time with them.</p> <p>On her actual birthday, we had a good family day, just the 3 of us at home. It was really low-key and I felt a little bad about not doing a big party that weekend (we do have friends around, though no family) but in the end I think it was better this way. I couldn't figure out how to plan a party around her naps and it just wasn't worth throwing her whole schedule off for something she'd never remember. DH is taking several days off. We are thinking boat ride, checking out different libraries (she loves them), going out for pizza and ice cream (her favorites).
