I feel like all dry racks end up getting gross after awhile. What if you used a toothbrush to clean between the blades of grass after doing what Charmed suggested above?

@charmed: ughh I tried soaking in vinegar and hot water..didn't do it. I can't figure out how to scrub between all the "bristles" so to speak...I'm afraid if I buy another, the same issue will happen! dang things are so pricey..

What about soaking it in some really hot water with bleach/disinfectant? Putting it in a larger tupperware full of soapy water and shaking the crap out of it? (don't have a boon lawn, so not sure if any of these ideas will work!)
Otherwise I would just toss it and buy a new one

I am so freaking grossed out. I regularly take the Boon lawn apart, wash it, and whatever. Usually the white tray has some scuz or mold on it, I disinfect and move on.

well, all in the bottom of the actual "grass" is DISGUSTING. Mold. I don't have a dishwasher. I feel like there's no way I can get in between all of the "blades" of grass. I'm tempted to toss it and buy a new one, but how would I avoid the same issue with a new one?

any better options for a drying rack? GAG!
