I use an exercise ball (the really big ones) as a chair at work and it forces me to sit up straight, and it builds core strength too.

I’m working on this too and don’t have much advice yet. I even bought the upright go sensor. It worked really well but it started driving me nuts after a few weeks. Maybe I should get it back out though. I thought that would be better than a brace but now I’m not so sure.

physical therapy or try mommastrong. her videos correct years of poor posture for me and fixed my back pain. i had to do a lot of glute strengthening, which isn't what i expected!

There are some good exercises on YouTube if you just look up posture correcting exercise. It also depends on what muscles are causing the bad posture. For me the muscles under my shoulder blades are weak so that was what I worked on first.

Talk to your yoga instructor about it. They are usually super knowledgeable about the human body and muscles and can give you good things to do

I have horrible posture too. At work, I now have a sit/stand desk and a gaming chair, both help with my posture if I use them correctly. For me its all about my willingness to fix my posture (a little like a mind game). I know how to get around sitting correctly lol
I'm sure working out your core muscles would help also...

Hopefully someone else will chime in with good advice!

I’ve always been a sloucher but after ten years of a desk job it’s worse than ever. I’ve been thinking of buying a posture brace but I’m not sure if it’s possible for that to do more harm than good? Are there specialists that help fix posture? I need more than my mom in my ear telling me to stand up straight at this point! I go to yoga once a week and do feel that’s helped strengthen my back a bit but not sure what to do next.
