And if his comment was not made specifically about you, then don't pay it anymore mind. He's not very experienced and definitely is not a people person. He often acts petulant and mean-spirited. I started back work Monday after seven (glorious) months of maternity leave. Anyway, yesterday he made a passive aggressive comment on how, because I work my contracted hours and not more, I basically shirk my duties. After I left the office I broke down into tears. I was filled with anger, my feelings were hurt and it took a long time to calm down. I've worked with him for 2 years now and have yet to be able to not take things like this personally. Just wondered if anyone has tips for dealing with a bad boss. </p>
