If he already fights his afternoon nap, I would try to see if he will lengthen his morning nap if you drop the afternoon nap. We have split preschool (morning at montessori and afternoon at another place). Is it possible he could take a nap later? Since he has school later, it wouldn't be a huge issue to push his bedtime a little later so that he sleeps more in the morning. Only problem is, the spots they have left are in the afternoon. Right now LO is 15 months, and he still takes 2 naps (9-11 and 2:30-3:30ish - he actually likes his morning nap much more than his afternoon nap, which he fights). </p> <p>Preschool is 9 months away, so there is of course no predicting what his nap schedule will be then, but for those of you who are doing/have done afternoon preschool for a 2 year old, is it a doable? Any tips? </p>
