@JenGirl: Interesting! I have been feeling better when I eat salty foods but I thought it was just a craving.

For me, being full (not just snacking but FULL) and drinking water helps me but I constantly feel like I have motion sickness right now.

I drink coconut water and try to get in as much water as I can. We went to a small amusement park when I was 14 weeks, so I packed lots of granola bars with protein, trail mix packs, and then cheese sticks and yogurt in our cooler. I felt pretty good as long as I sat down frequently and kept hydrated.

@bubblegum: is the dizzyness accompanied by any other symptom such as a racing heart? I would mention that to the doctor just in case but usually if you are drinking enough water and eating enough food you shouldnt keep feeling dizzy

I had this in the first couple of weeks as well... But I think it was mostly caused by the diclegis they put me on for HG, so consider if you've changed any medications. Otherwise, once I went off that, it helped to stay hydrated, especially with Gatorade.

Clear liquids and salt! The dizziness is because your blood volume is supposed to be increasing and you're probably a little low on your blood pressure. The increased fluids will help your body increase your blood volume and the salt helps your body retain the fluid so that it can be used. And if you feel dizzy - just sit down. Wherever you are. It's better than fainting.

I had this problem. It helped to drink more and eat small sbacks throughoutthe day. The heat was dehydrating me and I had low blood sugar.

Drink a ton, and eat snacks all day with plenty of protein and salt. I almost passed out several times and drinking a lot more helped.

It's horrible. I'm due at the end of March and also dealing with it. My OB said push fluids as much as possible and drink things with electrolytes in them. I try to drink around the clock, but it is hard.

I'm due in March, not April, but I had this issue with my first pregnancy - keeping hydrated was the most important thing, and otherwise, just keeping from jerking my head around or making any sudden movements. It sucked, but it also went away by the time I reached my second tri!

This pregnancy is already shaping up to be very different from my pregnancy with DS. One major difference is I am dizzy often throughout the day.

Anyone have some helpful tips?

I'm going to Disney on Monday and I'm hoping you ladies have some time for me ;)
