So if I ask if they want carrots or apples and they say no to both or can't decide I ask if they want me to surprise them. I am shocked at how often they pick that option and how seldom I get backlash about the surprise. He will usually cry for a minute or two, but I walk away and then he sorts it out himself. "No, I don't want it!" phase!</p> <p>My LO is starting to do this all the time lately. She will cry for something, then decide she hates it- throws it down, and then cries for it back. What the heck kid? The worst offender is her comforter on her bed. "Cover!!" I then proceed to cover her. Scream and kick "No cover! Dont want it!" I then take it off her. Rinse and repeat until I have just had enough and throw it in a different room. </p> <p>What do you do when your toddler does this? </p>
