I think I wrote to you about this on another thread of yours, but this sounds very similar to the period I got after my D&C--starting and stopping (mine stopped completely several times for over 12 hours, etc) and super light, and went on for over a week. My cycles are always always 26-28 days and super regular, with ovulation usually happening around CD 16-17. After that weird D&C period, I didn't ovulate for over 3 weeks. I remember writing about it here on HB and it driving me crazy, I thought it would never happen. If you're still off and on bleeding, IMO taking your OPKs starting now is wasting them, but if you want to be fastidious you could, I guess--I just would not expect to ovulate in the next few days.

@bhbee: prior to my m/c, I was new to OPK and just happened to get pregnant on our 1st try at CD12...I had started at CD 10 with testing...so that’s why I thought I’d do it again starting at CD10 😬🤔

Weird periods post mc are pretty normal so I’d just count it. When did you usually ovulate? I saw my period 6w after d&c and ovulated on the late side of my normal. That was cd17 when I saw a + so starting at cd10 would have driven me crazy! But I probably didn’t test before cd14 knowing my own cycles. So I’d test if you think it could happen but manage your expectations that it may also be weird. Hugs, the months until things go back to normal are tough!

After almost 7 weeks post m/c and D&C, I finally got my period—or so I thought. 9 days ago I started with darker red bleeding and it has been very light since then (some days I would only count it as spotting). I do wear tampons because on the few occasions I thought I’d be safe just wearing a pad, I would have a smaller increase of bleeding that would lead me to think it could become heavier.
I’m so confused on how to “count” at this point. I’ve never had to change my tampon simply due to my flow but for safety concerns, I don’t go more than 4-6 hrs without changing.
Help!! Should I start using my OPK tomorrow like the instructions suggest? Tomorrow would be day 10 since I noticed anything.
Thanks!!
