We actually didn't give her much until then because she would gag on it. Then at her 9 month apt. my doctor said to keep trying, so I did, and all of a sudden she stopped gagging and ate it. She will put everything in her mouth except for food. She will play with it, mushes it, sometimes tastes it but as soon as she gets a little bit of it in her mouth, she'll spit it back out. I've tried feeding her what i'm eating but she shows no interest, turns her head away and clamps her mouth shut. She's been on cereal and puree (chunkier puree now) since 5.5 months. Does anyone have any suggestions with how to get her to eat finger foods? Was your LO a late eater too? </p>
