Try when he's super happy, and maybe try going outside with him in the wrap.

I just wen to a baby wearing seminar yesterday and the expert babywearing lady made a few suggestions. Try new things before noon every day. They have a better tolerance for new things earlier in the day. For wraps and slings, they need to get used to it, so start in small increments and work them up to long lengths. If they scream at first, try bouncing and singing to calm them, once they are calm, take them out and try again later, each time going for a longer increment. Hope that helps.

@oahujeni: my baby hated wraps, slings & swaddles from day 1. :/ he would only enjoy facing out in a Baby Bjorn. Once he was big enough of course.
He's 1 now and we use the Ergo but if he couldn't see up and all around he would still hate it I'm sure!

@hilsy85: I thought he was happy and fed but as soon as he gets in he goes nuts. And no he will not take a paci... I've tried 4 different ones already and refuses every one! I'll just keep trying :)

I would make sure to try when he's happy and well fed. Does he take a paci? Maybe give him one in there to help him relax. Other than that, just keep trying! I feel like babies' preferences change quickly, so even though he doesn't like it now, he might in a week or so.

I just got the boba/sleepy wrap to wear LO in during the day, but when I put him in it he screams bloody murder. I have him in there right and it feels comfortable, but he stretches his neck and head back and cries the whole time he's in it. I thought babies liked to be worn and close to their mommas? He does great in the ergo but that's too uncomfortable for me to move around in during the day. Any advice on how to get him acclimated to the wrap without it stressing him out?
