I put gripe water directly in the bottle because she hated the taste of it by itself.

We used the dropper too. He didn't seem to mind the taste. We squirted it onto the side of his mouth because whenever I squirted it directly in the front, he would spit it out.

@BeachMama: I couldn't find the Mylicon brand either (I heard that it was recalled), but we've been using PediaCare. It works great for us!

We gave it to LO with the dropper, but I've read that you can put it in the bottle. I usually give it after a feeding. Not sure if it helps though. Right now we're trying Little Tummy's Gas Drops. I couldn't find Mylicon anywhere.

I think you can mix it in a bottle. Honestly, it never worked for LO... she needed a little extra help so we went straight to Mylicon. But when we did try it we let her drink it from her regular bottle nipple. No extra contraptions and SO much easier than using the syringe.

I just use the syringe that came with the gas drops. I know with gas drops you can mix with the bottle. But I like giving it directly do I know she took it all. Whereas with a bottle sometimes she doesn't finish the whole bottle.

I use a small bottle to give Vit D drops, which is similar. I express a little milk into it so he'll take it.

how do you give gripe water? LO seems to be having a little gas/reflux/hiccup problem, so i wanted to give gripe water a try. i gave him his bottle and then gave it to him with a syringe(that's all i have right now, i want to get one of the nipple dispensers).
should you give it before or after the feeding? can you mix it in the bottle?
