Hmm... I would either try a stroller or carrier nap and have a car nap as a back-up.

There is no way my 14 month old would have napped in his stroller, too much going on, too much to look at. Maybe if his stroller could be configured facing in and with a privacy shield, but I would't have counted on it. Can you do an earlier bedtime?

I haven't worn her in a while but in the past, she would fall asleep in the carrier. She hasn't fallen asleep in the stroller recently but, we haven't messed with her naps in the past either!!

I would try the stroller and if it doesn't work I'd just deal with skipping a nap. My LO does that every once in awhile and as long as she's entertained she's ok.

Can you time any driving time to coincide with naps? A good car nap is always our fallback. He won't nap well in his stroller.

Does she not nap well in her stroller? If I remember correctly Baltimore has some cobblestone streets..... my M always naps fabulously on a bumpy stroller ride

I'm nervous.

We're going to Baltimore in August. We're driving up Friday, staying at a hotel Friday night and then staying with our best friends Saturday and Sunday nights. I would love to spend the day in Baltimore on Saturday, but I'm worried about where/when M will nap and what it will be like to have a tired/fussy 14 month old on our hands when we don't have a home base to go to for a nap.

Suggestions or thoughts on what we can do?

Details: our friends don't live downtown so, it's not easy to just pop over to their house and crash for a baby nap. M will be able to have just one nap by that time.
