My LO loves to bite it and suck on it, and it gets stinky real quick. Now I let him have it and consider it his lovey. If I leave it lying over the edge of the crib instead of inside with him, he'll scoot all around the crib until he can get it and he snuggles it when sleeping.</p> <p>I didn't really do anything to introduce it to him - we just used to swaddle him in it when he was little and now it's just in the crib with him, but he seems to love it!</p> <p>But when I wanted to send one to daycare for him for comfort, I slept with it first to get my scent on it. And I may have squirted milk on it... sorry, gross, I know! But I really wanted Xander to associate the blanket with ME. I think one way to do it is to give it to them while you nurse.
