<description>&#60;p&#62;@Mrs. Lemon-Lime:  I think it would damage the table; I wouldn't put it directly onto a table, especially a wood one. Ours is a rough texture, which could easily scratch a wood table, and the heat from the stone could create condensation that would sit underneath it and could water damage a wood table. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I think it would be fine to set the warm stone on a table if it was placed on some thick fabric though - maybe a couple of folded up towels, or something similar.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Making your own pizza is very easy. I keep pizza warm basically the same way @purplepeony does, except to add that I warm our pizza stone too and then put the pizza directly on that, which I think helps to keeps the crust from getting soggy so quickly. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If this would be for a party or gettogether, depending on the formality/setup of the party, you could even let guests make their own mini pizzas, which would cook up very quickly. That would eliminate the need to keep pizza warm, and might be a fun activity, depending on the party atmosphere.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;ETA: I'm a crust snob and don't like any of the major brands (Papa Johns, Papa Ginos, Pizza Hut, Dominos, etc.) so I can't help there. We order from local places.

<description>&#60;p&#62;When I want to keep pizzas warm, I heat up the oven to about 225 or 250, then turn it off (very important -- don't forget to do this!). Then I stick the boxes of pizza in there and keep the door closed as much as possible. It will do the trick for a pretty long time. You can start with just a couple pizzas on the buffet and then pull out more from the oven as needed. I guess this depends on the size of your oven and how many pizzas you'll have, though!&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;My favs are Sal's and Sbarro's. Sal's gets too soggy right away to stay and when left out Sbarro's tastes like cardboard.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Is making pizza at home easy? Will that offer a better chance of staying warm?
