@HolisticMama: off topic, but i know you're new here (and we're happy you're here!) & maybe didn't know when you want someone to get a notification that you've replied to them, on the right, under the 'minutes ago' for each post on a thread, there is a 'reply' button and if you click it, it will type in that person's name and send them an email notification that you mentioned them in your reply. i know i often forget to go back & check threads i've posted on if i don't get a notification. hope that helps :)

i try not to go there, i avoid things i know will trigger my worry. i meditate & practice belly breathing to calm & center myself. positive speech is also important to me- i say 'when i have a LO' or call them 'my someday kids', because it's not 'if i ever have kids' to me, i refuse to question whether it will happen, i have faith that it will, it just might not be on the timeline i imagined or in a traditional way, but only referring to it as a definite in the future helps keep me positive.

i hope HB helps you let go of some of that worry- so many of us have needed some help, lost a pregnancy along the way, or just weren't achieve the pregnancy we dreamed of, but eventually we will all be parents, one way or another. it's great not to be alone in it.

That good advice, @Mrs.Lion, I was actually thinking about poking my head into a church down the street tomorrow. A little spirituality will do me good, I suspect!

I discovered that the worry never stops...you worry before you are pregnant, you worry while you are pregnant...then you bring home that tiny little miracle and you can continue to worry forever. You have to choose to either live in the worry, or just trust that things are going to work out.

For me the only thing that helps is having faith...to me, that means that ultimately God is in control, and if I have done all I can do then I need to leave it in his hands. It also helps me to remember other times in my life where things have been tough, and find comfort in the fact that no matter how bad they were I was able to get through it.

Embarking on this TTC journey has revealed to me that I worry... A LOT.

I worry about being pregnant. I worry about NOT being pregnant. I worry about a phantom pregnancy that won't allow me to get pregnant.

Yeah.... It's special.

I absolutely need to learn how to let these thoughts go. Do you have any tips or advice? How do you let things go and move on?
