I figured I'd pay for 2 months (January and February when I'm actually making the kids' birthday videos) and then cancel it. It's ok. I don't like that you have to manually add in transitions between every single photo (I was making photo slideshows with videos thrown in every now and then). The set music they have is terrible, but you can add your own music (which was difficult because I'm still figuring out how to move my iTunes stuff into Google Play). I'd add things to my media folder but then wouldn't be able to find it until I logged out and logged back in. The whole process felt clunky and wasn't very intuitive. The birthday videos I make for the kids usually end up being about 10-12 minutes long, and I don't think you can make videos more than 5 minutes on WeVideo. Windows Movie Maker is free for Windows users, but I don't have any personal experience with it. You can share the final product on Facebook, YouTube, or Vimeo.
