Albany is mehh for kids.<br /> We have 2 great parks, the Splash Pad at Gavin Park, amazing playgrounds, kid-friendly places to eat (Circus Cafe, Druthers) and a gorgeous downtown with street performers that my kid always likes (18m). Anyone have a suggestion of somewhere we can take LO (19 months) to let her burn off some cooped-up-in-the-car energy? Bonus points if we can get dinner in the area, too. It doesn't have to be a tourist attraction or kid-centric place; if there were an IKEA in the area, I'd go there.</p> <p>I haven't booked a hotel/Air B&amp;B yet, so I'm also open to suggestions about where to stay. We will be coming from the south and heading east from Albany, so we could stay a little ways in either of those two directions. </p>
