<description>&#60;p&#62;I saw your post!  She's okay with cleanings but she just does better with things if she knows in advance what's going to happen. I'd like to prepare her, but without going into the gory detail (ie the shot in her mouth, drilling her tooth, etc).

Rather than filling it, since she could barely sit through a cleaning, our pediatric dentist suggested using silver diamine flouride to stop the filling. Our first of two appointments of the procedure is tomorrow.

<description>&#60;p&#62;My 4 yo is scheduled for a small filling on one of her back molars.  I haven't told her that she's having it done (at the advice of the dentist). She is pretty sensitive and fearful of new experiences. I'm really worried about how she'll handle all of it.  Any tips from parents who have gone through it?&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;One thing I plan on doing is picking up one of the things they put over her nose for the gas so we can &#34;play&#34; with it at home beforehand.
