@HLK208: spot shot is my go to carpet cleaner for tough stains. I get mine at Target but sometimes can also be found at Lowes. It smells pretty strong so I'd do it in the morning and let it air out during the day if it's her room. It's super easy to use and it works really well on tough stains.

Nature's miracle advanced? It's used for pets. I was going to say Oxy clean but sounds like you've used it already.

Nature's Miracle all the way! Been there, done that, only DD had diarrhea and ran around the entire upstairs in just a leaking diaper calling for us. By the time we got upstairs, it was ALL over. I wanted to torch our entire 2nd floor. Come to think of it, on that occasion, I used a combo of Nature's Miracle advanced stain, Resolve pet, and Lysol.

@coopsmama: We use Nature's Miracle for Pets, as well. Works like a charm! Unfortunately we had a bit of practice using it with a sick dog so I knew it would work just as well for human poop lol.

@kodybear: @Beth24:

Yes! Nature's Miracle. We had a similar situation a few months back with DS and it took out the stain completely.

Another vote for Natures Miracle! I have 2 dogs and a cat and have had a lot of messes to clean up. That by far is the best product for getting rid of the stain and the smell.

Natures miracle for pets works best for us and we've had to clean up some nasty stains! Can't tell anything was there before.

We have a SpotBot that has taken care of many pet stains, including sick dog poop that had a while to sit and dry while we were at work one day. It has a super heavy duty stain-removing setting that does something magical. You can't even tell the stain was there now!

After Resolve, I did baking powder and vinegar, then scrubbed and wrung out liquid. That's what I used for vomit. Good luck - yuck, poop on carpet is my biggest fear!

Does anyone you know have some sort of Bissell SpotBot or Carpet Cleaning Vacuum thingy? That's what we use for dog accidents. It's so hard to suck up the yuckiness after scrubbing without one of those.

We use an enzyme cleaner for pets on our carpet when we have any type of accident, be it pee, poo, or blood. It works pretty well. I scrub really well with an old toothbrush to really work it in there.

if the oxyclean doesn't work, you can also do some vinegar and baking soda. also bac out if you have it? because of my dogs and their odd need to fucking pee on my carpet/rugs, we have a spot bot.

UGH. Horrible way to wake up! DD closed her door when she woke up, took off her pajamas and went #2 (she yelled potty but I didn't get there fast enough) :bummed:

So, I cleaned up what I could. Used water, scrubbed, used oxyclean and a little detergent, scrubbed more, put more oxyclean on the carpet to let it sit. Now what? Resolve? Will I need to shampoo the carpet? DD2 crawls on that carpet daily!
