I wonder about putting in a zip lock bag with some baking soda?

Could you leave it outside in the sun? I know it's winter, but maybe it could still help get rid of some of the odors.

I bought a gently used Bitty Baby from a local woman. It's obvious they use perfumed laundry detergent and it's driving me nuts. I haven't even given the baby to my daughter yet. Any tips on getting smells out of the soft bodies of baby dolls? Would Febreeze work on something like that? I don't think you can just throw them in the washer.
