On our top loader (I forget the brand), it was located inside the agitator. On our Samsung front loader, it is located behind a little door in the bottom corner. Keep it in/next to your hamper and put all socks in the bag as soon as they come off feet. We have like 1,000 pairs but never can find any that match. I tried to solve the problem by buying 10 pairs for each kid of just white socks, but we managed to lose or misplace those in less than 3 months!
