Once I discovered it wasn't "all or nothing" (ie 80/20 rule), I have become a much happier, much more effective parent.

Good read.

Great advice! I feel like I read so many books and articles while pregnant and it just doesn't make sense anymore to do things because a book said I should, or a bunch of people on the internet believe in it. Some things just felt natural to me and some things I thought I'd never do I did out of desperation.

That's a nice reminder for moms! I notice myself putting a lot of pressure on doing everything 100% and need to cut myself some slack. I vividly remember the moment when I stopped comparing my kid/choices to what other people said was "right" - I was a million times more relaxed!
