The mobile might be too much stimulation at bedtime. I tried the crib a few times after 3 months but she hated it and cried the whole time. Then I tried again at 4 and a half months and she fell asleep right away!

Do you think she would settle down better if you took the mobile off the crib for a while so it's not there to distract her? My LO is still in my belly so I have no practical experience but it seems to me that might help.

My baby just turned 12 weeks today and she is still sleeping in her "fisher price rock and play" which looks like this:

However, it seems as if she will probably outgrow it within the next month or two. I also go back to work in 11 days and want to struggle now rather than later when I have to be up at 6am to get ready for my workday.

I have tried to lay her in her crib to sleep and she seems to wake up more easily - she will sleep a solid 5 hours and then she wakes for her early am feeding at 3 am. If laid in her bassinet she goes right back to sleep but the times I try and lay her in her crib she wakes up and just stares at her mobile and starts cooing.

I feel like maybe my husband and I messed up because she LOVES her mobile so occasionally during the day we lay her in her crib to watch her mobile while we do something else. It keeps her entertained!

Anyways, any tips on how to transition her into her crib to sleep all night in it?
