I did a lot of walking and bouncing on my yoga ball with A. This time I'm just resting ;)

@Dandelion: Agreed.

You need to wait. If you want to help the process you could increase your walking, that always helped me.
Also agree with @MamaMoose: about the heating pad.

If you figure it out let me know - I've been at this point for almost 3 weeks now. Thought LO was coming ages ago, but nope.

I have tried: pineapple, red raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on a yoga ball, yoga, walking, climbing stairs, sex, nipple stimulation, spicy food, "labor inducing cream cheese" (you eat it) from a bakery in Worcester MA, my friends lucky labor t-shirt, a pedicure, reflexology pressure points, a couple of "aggressive" cervical checks from my midwife and med student DH, loud noises, lights....you name it, I've tried it.

Still crampy, still Braxton Hicks, baby's still in there. <sigh>

Wait it out. There's nothing you can do. Make sure your cramps aren't from dehydration.

I think the best thing you can do is try to stay active (walking, etc). But at the same time, get rest because your body is hopefully gearing up for labor!

Yeah just wait it out. And I would avoid using a heating pad. It's not good to get your belly overheated (though it's ok to use it on your back on a low setting).

Wait it out. Or you will be exhausted trying to get to real contractions. Trust me, lol. This is your body prepping and getting ready.

And make sure you're not using the heating pad in the front. Sex, hot sauce, and lots and lots of walking! When are you due? I can't believe it's almost that time! :)

I know it really sucks but baby comes when it comes. I'd be cautious about using a breast pump without talking to your midwives. I think you are still before your due date,right? Baby needs to keep cooking!

That said, I walked and bounced on a yoga ball A LOT in final weeks and went into labor on my due date. Are you drinking enough water? I would sometimes get cramps if I hadn't been. Baths always helped too. Even those little cramps mean something is happening! Hang in there, I know it's really hard in the final weeks. I was a wreck

Trying out my electric breast pump kicked my contractions up a lot, but I was already in early labor.

Well the stuff I've heard is sex, spicy food, bouncing on a balance ball, nipple stimulation...those are the main ones that come to mind. None of them worked for me though, sometimes they'd make my cramps feel worse, but it never actually kick-started labor.
