You changed in your bedroom, and didn't go into the bathroom whem someone was in there. I remember going camping with my aunts family when I was 11 and they didn't mind nakedness so much. He would sometimes run from the bathroom to bedroom in his underwear or a towel but he never lingered like that. I've seen my mom naked plenty of times but it makes me uncomfortable and wish she would cover up. Neither of my parents have seen me naked since I was a little kid. </p> <p>With our kids I think we'll be pretty conservative about staying clothed. I think it helps with the discussion that private parts are private and if anyone asks to see them/tries to seem them we need to know. It's not so much that we aren't comfortable being naked around each other it's more that I can't control the thoughts and actions of other people, including those that might accidentally see in our windows. My 15 year old brothers would still walk around naked if you'd let them. The only conservative one seems to be my little sister. Probably by the time he's 1-2 years old, I'll stop, just cause he's a boy. </p> <p>In my family we were taught that we have "private parts" and only mom, dad and the doctor can see those parts. We were mostly conservative, but I was very close to my brothers so we bathed together until it was considered inappropriate, I was probably 9 or 10 when we stopped?</p> <p>I guess I'm pretty open with my mom/sister now, all of us have birthed in front of each other haha! </p> <p>I have always been pretty comfortable getting changed with my friends, although I don't feel that way now. My body has drastically changed because of pregnancy, and I have stretch marks covering my entire stomach, thighs, hips and breasts. I am very self-conscious about it now and have even had a REALLY hard time letting my husband touch my stomach now. When we were really little (like early elementary aged) we would have shared baths and stuff, but once we got a bit older, naked time was by-yourself time! My dad would walk around in his underwear in the summer, but we never had naked time. :-P When I was younger I would change in front of my mom, but when I got older, I think her self-consciousness rubbed off on me in the form of extreme modesty. I mastered the art of changing my clothes under a large shirt for gym. I look at my cousins and friends and they are very "personal" </p> <p>I once saw my dad naked when I was younger but that's about it. I think if my dad had a boy he would of had naked moments with him like my mom had with us. </p> <p>I like that I'm not very shy about my body with my sisters and mom... but I might be alone. </p> <p>How is it with you?
