With #2, I went into labor at work. He actually had no issues with me driving out to pick up lunch for both of us and took his own sweet time finishing up his work to take me to the hospital that afternoon. He even asked me "What's the rush?" in reference to us leaving work. He's been extra protective lately and doesn't like me driving around and going places by myself or with the kids. He thinks I should stay at home most of the time. I'm a SAHM so I like to get out during the day or I feel cooped up. A little too calm, in fact.</p> <p>On the day I went into labor, he was at work and I had been monitoring my contractions all day and a friend had come over to sit with me. Well, when they were five minutes apart at 6:30pm I told him he HAD to be home at 8:00. After 8:00 came and went I called him. Where was he that was so important that he had to be late to go to the hospital with me? Oh, at the pub with a friend. Everytime I got up to pee he would literally JUMP out of bed and ask if I was in labor lol.
