He seemed ok as we were saying goodbye but when we actually went to leave he bolted from his chair and clung to me while crying. :crying: His teachers said it didn't take him long to calm down and he was good the rest of the morning, chatty and playing. But that night he begged me not to take him back and started crying about it again. He said "Next time I just stay home with you mommy." and "Why you want to leave me mommy?" Cue heartbreak and I'm now considering homeschooling through college. :silly: I'm sure he's going to cry tomorrow (his second day) but I hope he warms up fast! First day went great. Only one kid cried, and that was due to an accident - not to first-day separation anxiety!! Yesterday she was slow to warm up but didn't cry and finally participated. Hoping today goes even better! How was your LO's first day/week of school? I know some of your LO's have been going a few weeks now, how is it going overall for them?
