I was up and moving around less than 24 hours later, doing laps around the halls by day 2. I think I pushed myself too hard with a toddler at home, and also ended up with a wound infection that really wiped me out. Most of the women I've talked to, though, have said that the recovery got easier with each RCS.</p> <p>@ValentineMommy: I'm 18 mos out from my second CS and have about the same area of numbness that I did at this point after my first (if that makes sense). I was home 29 hours after delivery and ok to go on short walks three days later. At one week pp I was about 95%. I had a 23 month old at home at it wasn't a problem at all. My parents were there the first week, then my sisters the next week.
