@fussygal: oh no :bummed: Hopefully it will be a bit better in a few months! Also, I unfortunately gained like 10-15 lbs after reintroducing dairy and soy. Yuck. So I've been toying with Whole30/paleo to try to get back on the healthy train. Hoping to do an actual Whole 30 in January!

@Baby Boy Mom: @LovelyPlum: It really is crazy how much better I felt off dairy! I've drank almond milk for years anyway so that adjustment wasn't too bad, but man did I miss cheese and yogurt! I've been going a wee bit overboard the past few weeks, but plan to start cutting back on the cheese soon lol.

Unfortunately we've found out since I posted that N actually can't do dairy as well as we thought :( Hoping to try reintroduction after the New Year again though!

Yes! I always say that MSPI was a blessing in disguise because it made me realize that *I* am sensitive to dairy and soy. I will have some but I try to limit it because I just feel better without it.

I just saw this post now. I actually do much better without dairy, it turns out! I'm just not nearly as strict with whey, caseins, etc. I don't drink milk, occasionally eat cheese or ice cream, etc. Most of my dairy intake comes from the butter I cook with, and the occasional latte. It's a huge bummer that the stuff I really liked before doesn't sit well with me!

BTW, so glad that N can do dairy now!

DD is almost 19 months and seems to FINALLY do okay with a bit of hidden dairy. I, however, am feeling kind of gross after eating the same foods :( I've always been a bit lactose, and did feel better when off dairy, but I was hoping to be able to indulge in the occasional slice of pizza and yogurt.

All I can think to do is take baby steps, but I'm curious if any of you had troubles post-MSPI and what was your strategy for easing back into it?
