Had set a date to go shopping with my sister. She doesn't know I am pregnant so that was hard. I needed new cardigans anyway so that is what I ended up with. Survived first night out with friends since finding out. We finally managed to get me a vodka soda, sans vodka, then though I think they figured it out. But luckily they didn't say anything. Friday we went out to eat with the in laws, DH's cousin and her husband, and his aunt and uncle &amp; then hungout at his cousin's house (we are due 3 weeks apart, so it was fun to be around another prego!) </p> <p>Saturday I cleaned and DH golfed all day and then had my grandpa's 80th birthday party. I got up early and hit some estate sales, which I hadn't done in a while, and got a bunch of great art for our walls and an awesome plant/planter for our front porch (finally we have something out there!). We got brunch, then I napped, then I met a friend for lunch and we hit a couple of more sales and an antique mall I love. Then DH and I went to Outback and I was in bed by 8 p.m. (stupid first trimester!). Sunday was just meeting friends for morning coffee, grocery shopping, buying a bunch of picture frames at Target and finally starting our hallway gallery wall of wedding/family photographs, cleaning a bit, and taco night. Oh, and the season premier of Breaking Bad! Friday around noon we noticed our AC wasn't working (again) so we had to scramble and call someone and beg them to fix it. </p> <p>Saturday was lunch with my inlaws to celebrate husband's grandparents 60th anniversary/his aunt being in town. Then my first baby shower. It was sooo blissful. We drove my mom back to NYC after work and M did SO well! She played, napped, played napped. We didn't hit any traffic so we made it in 6.5 hours with a half hour stop pretty much half way. We nursed and changed diaper and found a great midway stop for our regular NYC road trips in Binghamton.<br /> Got to meet our super adorable nephew, went for Malaysian, dim sum and Korean! Had awesome bubble tea - how I miss GOOD bubble tea. M was SO well behaved the whole weekend, No crying fits and she actually napped! We took Charlie and Olive to the local public pool for the first time on Friday, and Charlie had the time of his life. We have to sign him up for swimming lessons now! There is also a 1 foot deep infant pool perfect for Olive.</p> <p>Then on Saturday we took a ferry to Governor's island and spent the whole day there. Considering we had two toddlers and two babies and had to take a bus and a ferry to get there and back, everyone was very well behaved. An extremely successful outing, and everyone had a great time!</p> <p>On Sunday we were pooped from all the festivities (and Mr Bee got sunburned) so we stayed home except for a quick trip to the local playground, and hanging out in our backyard.</p> <p>Life sure is busy when you have two kids! But both kids ate well and slept well, so overall it was a pretty great weekend.</p> <p>What were you up to? </p>
