The process itself is totally normal, but I love super heavy and spicy foods and straight (good) liquor instead of complicated drinks. It's hard to tell if it's working because I'm on so many pain killers for the pain, that it would take away the pain from migraines too. I'm often compared to a robot. </p> <p>I have a rechargable battery in my back so I can recharge myself, and I use a remote control to control the amount of stimulation I want for my nerves in my head. I can't go through normal airport security anymore. And I'll probably start setting off alarms in places like Target and Walmart. I dance with my LO to songs in stores, I wear gold sparkly shoes sometimes, I don't typically have the same opinion as people on issues - I've been accused of just liking to be contrary but I just don't have the same style or opinions of most people. I know these days that people say that there's no such thing as a norm and that we are all weird... but I do think that averages still exist.</p> <p>For me personally, I often feel pretty weird. Part of it is that I am half-Japanese, and a lot of things about me didn't make sense until I went to Japan and met a whole country of people that were very similar to me. That helped me feel much more normal. Still, the cultural difference often leads me to feel very different in my day-to-day life.</p> <p>But even beyond that, I feel like I am often running into things about myself that are pretty different/weird. I have trouble relating to a lot of people that I meet, because sometimes the chasm is just too big.
