Both pregnancies were difficult, but the second has been more so. At 38 weeks, I STILL throw up almost every day, my SPD is a lot worse (to the point where I have literally collapsed to the floor on several occasions), and I have suffered from horrific insomnia and migraines, throughout the entire pregnancy.

I also had an emergency appendectomy during my second trimester with this pregnancy, which has considerably contributed to my discomfort.

But I have to say that with the second, my skin has never been better (I broke out like crazy with the first), and I never developed a linea nigra. I also got a few stretch marks with the first, but didn't get any with the second.

i think my second pregnancy was easier. i might have been slightly more sick and tired than with my first, but because i gained less weight it was overall much more comfortable. i also broke out less with the second pregnancy. both pregnancies were pretty similar in that i had morning sickness up to 14 weeks and then it started to subside.

This is for the moms with multiple pregnancies- how did your pregnancies differ (or did they)? I'm almost 7 weeks with my second pregnancy and I'm experiencing a lot more morning sickness this time. I got it a little bit with my first, but never threw up and only dry heaved once. Mostly it was generally feeling nauseated and it wasn't too bad.

This time, I'm dry heaving every day, still no vomiting, but this morning my super smell powers kicked in and I almost threw up from the scent of some fruit.

Did anyone else have a harder time with their second pregnancy?
