She was married in early September (the date was clearly in one of the pictures she had posted of a wedding program) so I will assume she bought the sash at least a month prior in August. I'd heard nothing about the sale and it was January so that's 5 months without hearing anything...at least! Makes me feel better about thinking the worst in this situation. She finally responded to my message after several days and, even though my message had been really kind, not forceful at all, acted as though I had accused her of wrongdoing. They get 20% commission on the consignment items and you get the rest. I hadn't heard anything and I know they just keep the items in their boutique until they sell them.</p> <p>This morning I noticed that someone tagged the boutique in their wedding pictures - and clearly the bride is wearing the sash I put on consignment there! It's one of a kind, very unique. There is no way it's not the one I put up there. The wedding was definitely from the summer time and I didn't hear anything about the fact that it was sold.</p> <p>I messaged the owner this morning and see that she got the message but hasn't responded to my short, cordial message despite clearly reading it and being active on her Facebook page. How should I handle this? Should I stop in at the boutique? I'd really like my $250 from that sash. </p>
