If he wanted to give you something that was related to the laundry tub as a gift, I'd be less miffed (i.e., laundry accessories, or framed print of laundry care instructions, etc.). Honestly, so many men have no clue!</p> <p>Shortly after we got engaged, DH bought me an LCD tv for Christmas. Before that, I had a CRT (this was only in 2008, lol!), which was fine for me, since I didn't even watch tv or have cable. I only used the tv for movies. I was all like (in my head), thanks for buying me the thing that I didn't need, want, or even hint that I wanted. The kicker, he was coming to visit for a few weeks, and so I ended up ordering cable so he could watch tv on "my" new tv.
