She doesn't have it. But she has an Olaf lego piece and she told the guy, "no thank you. I already have this." She would say, "Another {X}!" If it's a toy she likes, she would be excited and say thank you. Sometimes she is not the most grateful gift recipient though. A friend brought her a Cinderella bracelet (and she loves Cinderella) and she threw it and said, "I don't like it." I was mortified. She was probably so excited about getting a present and then at that particular moment couldn't deal with the disappointment of getting a duplicate. I think you did the right thing explaining how to be grateful.
