We took one class per semester because it's so expensive, and filled the rest of our time with playdates and trips to malls, etc. </p> <p>When I was little I started ballet at 2 and piano at 5. Actually just got off the phone with someone from that gym. I'm planning to take her for a free introductory class before I commit to the program. I definitely see it more as a socialization tool for her more than anything else at this point. We started parent toddler swim classes just after his first birthday and he loves it. He's now 2 and can be put under water for a few seconds.<br /> I didn't learn to swim until i was much older and had already developed a fear of the water so I'm not a good swimmer at all. When she's a toddler, I intend to have her in some toddler-friendly activities. But as soon as she's 4 years old, I plan to have her in something more structured (an instument, a sport, etc.) and long-term.</p> <p>I started swimming lessons when I was 3 years old and started piano lessons when I was 6.</p> <p>What have you enrolled your LOs in?
