In Chicago, Pulling Down the Moon is affiliated with the Fertility Center of Illinois and when I went to my appointment with the RE, I was given some materials about reduced rates for FCI patients (after I had spent 3 weeks paying full price). In fact, I got a positive pregnancy test after 4 sessions (after several months of trying to conceive but not succeeding). I read the yelp reviews on the one in Chicago and kept hearing great things about a certain acupuncturist so I booked with her. She specializes in fertility and I would recommend that you find someone that does. That way, they know certain areas to avoid or focus on depending upon the day of your cycle. </p> <p>Although I am not pregnant yet, I still love going and even my husband can tell that it's helped me to relax. I just wish it was cheaper! Found one close to work. She had a website with links to published articles about how acupuncture can help with fertility. I think I looked her up on yelp to see if there were any reviews. There were no reviews. I called her and asked if she takes my insurance and she did. I saw her and I really liked her so I stayed. I've seen her for almost 2 years now and I can't imagine seeing anyone else. </p> <p>What I could have done was ask my RE for some recommendations. Though, I'm so happy I chose my acupuncturist. She's a 10 min walk from work so I could see her on my lunch break.
