Spent his entire time pushing away my hands and floating / kicking independently for periods of 15-20 seconds. He can kick in the direction he wants, float on his back and belly, and tries to belly flop off the top step... ugh!</p> <p>We haven't done swim lessons yet, we are thinking about doing them in the winter when he is 2. </p> <p>What was your child's progression with swimming? </p>
