@mrs. wagon: @yoursilverlining: That was my mother's revenge. Apparently, I did the exact same thing when I went to preschool. I didn't even want her to walk into the building, lol.

@looch: LOL, ouch!! That's both what you want to hear as a parent, but also a little stab to the heart!

Our transition was a lot better than I expected; I thought LO would be clingy at drop-off yesterday, but she was so happy to see her friends. She ran to the window when I left, and her friends followed her and I got a huge grin from LO as she waved bye to me. She even blew me a kiss!

@looch: haha!!! so classic.

It SUCKS. Like, Monday night I went to bed super late because I was so in denial that the weekend was over. The whole weekend was stressful because the kids were both so whiny, but coming back to work was still really hard. They both ran into daycare yesterday, but this morning LMW cried when I left. SO HARD.

Rough. I had a 4 day weekend, and it was GLORIOUS! I'm having a hard time trying to keep myself from yawning all day.

Yesterday was tough. He's got a runny, stuffy nose right now. He just wants to sleep, sleep. Work is eh. My El stop is closing tomorrow, so my commute is going to get awful on top of work stuff. I just want to hibernate and drink pumpkin beer.

Yesterday was my son's first day of preschool, he basically was fine, as in, "You can leave now" were his exact words.

I always find it really hard to go back to work after a long weekend, particularly recently because we are in holiday season and it's impossible to achieve anything at work anyway!!

I came back yesterday and it was a LONG day. I always feel like shorter weeks sometimes feel longer than a "real" work week! I'm ready for Friday at 5 that's for sure! My LO is still on weekend time and wanting to stay up later and sleep in...not happening.

I had a short day Friday, was off for the holiday wknd, today's my first day back and I'm missing my lil man!! Although he was extra clingy and whiny and teething yesterday so the mental break to work is nice too!
