It just felt strange to be doing that stuff knowing a little person was inside of me. Post pregnancy - we didn't do it until LO was 5 months old...and then again when he was 11 months. Maybe my hormones were all out of wack but I really never was in the mood and DH was tired all the time. You guys are too funny. </p> <p>With Wagon Jr. we fluctuated, but we normally fluctuate so I guess it was pretty normal. Actually, I'm convinced that I got myself to go into labor by having unprotected sex the night before. We almost never have unprotected sex (we use barrier, aka condom, every time) so it couldn't have been a fluke!! So whenever ladies are near the end and wanting to go into labor I tell them to have unprotected sex ;)</p> <p>This time around we've both been a little less into it. For some reason I am MORE scared this time about hurting the baby, even though I know it's pretty much impossible. I think I'm a little more connected emotionally to the baby this time so I'd rather just not do anything that she might feel. Plus stuff has shifted after having Wagon Jr. so things have been a little less fun since having Wagon Jr. Maybe this is TMI but I used to enjoy two different positions and now I'm just down to one position. </p> <p>But Wagon Sr. and I have really great physical chemistry (have since day one... heh) and even after almost 7 years of marriage the sex is still great.... so I can't complain!! It does get tough emotionally when we haven't done it for a while, so we do do it at least once every two weeks or so, even if I don't feel like it. Pre-TTC we were more of a once a week couple (been together for almost 11 years!). TTC we picked things up alot. However, first trimester, kept getting yeast infections from sex. Had sex a few times in second trimester. Then, belly got big and my husband got a little freaked out about that....and now at 31 wks I'm on bedrest/pelvic rest so there won't be any sex for quite awhile. We've found other ways to stay intimate (baths together, etc) and I actually feel closer to DH than ever. Like I completely stopped thinking about it at all. And then I got varicose veins in my lady bits, at which point I just didn't want anything down there. So it's been a good 6 weeks since the last time.
