We also have a big planet wise wet bag hanging on the wall by the changing area. Once LO was over 6 mos, we sprayed out the poops and then threw the diaper in the wet bag. I really like being able to wash the bags with the diapers.

We used to just use a large wet bag, but ours got too worn out after many many washings. Now we use a stainless trash can with a foot pedal lid and a simple laundry bag inside. Works great, we have gotten to where we only wash once a week and don't notice odors.

We use a cheap plastic trashcan from Target with a Planet Wise bag lining it. Smells don't usually escape, but I use the Arm n' Hammer discs in there and if the diaper is particularly nasty, I use a bit of Bac Out.

I use the large hanging wet/dry bags from PlanetWise. They work really well and I've never had a smell issue with them. I have 2 and just hang them off the corner of the changing table and dump everything in the wash when it is full.

I have a rubbermaid roughneck bin with snaps on the lid! No liner or anything, just toss them in there and when it's laundry time I bring them to the wash tub/washer in that!

I have a stainless steel step trash can for Target and a planet wise wet bag in it. I just throw them in there when they're dirty and toss the whole thing in the wash when it's time to clean.

We use a plastic trash can with a lid from target and a pail liner (Kissaluvs brand). We also have a large Planet Wise wet bag with handles that hangs from the back of the door. We have 2 ways so when we have a place for diapers when one is in the wash. Oh, and we don't rinse/wash first, but we do spray with Bac-Out.

I still haven't figured out a system, so I just fold them closed and stack them on top of each other on her changing table. I wash every other day, and no smell has ever built up. The dirty diapers I rinse and put in the laundry room to store for a day or two. I bought a Planet Wise wet bag, but haven't bought a trash can yet.

@sotofamilia: we had a separate pail for cloth diapers, which was basically a large plastic step trash can with a wet bag as a liner. the wet bags by planet wise can be washed in the laundry too

Into the wet bag in the pail. Not a problem with Freetimes (i roll them up so i don't touch them) but with nighttime diapers that are 100% cotton, they get soaked. Ew

We just used a diaper pail or cloth diaper bag. We did rinse the diapers out with water in the tub before putting them in the diaper pail. When we washed them in the washing machine we would typically just do an extra rinse and they were fine. I hope that helps.

I'm new to cloth diapering and so far we've been putting the dirty diapers in the same arm and hammer pail we were using for disposables. But he had a poopy diaper this morning and trying to stuff a wet, dirty diaper into the pail was really gross.

So if you cloth diaper, how do you store your diapers until it's time to wash them?
