@BadgerMom: Thanks, yea so far every person I've talked to has a different answer / doesn't seem to have any idea what they are talking about. Great idea to ask for them to point me to the actual paperwork!

I have no experience with HRA, but I would probably call back and ask for a supervisor and ask for them to show you where their answer is located in the paper work. I have had a TERRIBLE time getting accurate and consistent answers out of the customer service people at our health insurance company.

For health insurance we have an HRA that DH's employer puts $6,000 in each year. It does not roll over. When we go to the doctor we submit a claim to the HRA and then we get reimbursed for the amount we paid.

Everything I've been reading says I should be able to also submit claims for medical expenses and get reimbursed for them. These expenses would be FSA type eligible items - like breast pump parts, contact solution, etc.

BUT I just chatted with the company that distributes the account and they were clueless / said I can only be reimbursed for doctor visits / prescriptions...even though on THEIR site it says differently.

Any experience with this / how do I figure out who is right?
