@kels714: By looking at your chart I'm leaning towards saying your O date might be off. I don't use OPK's so correct me if I'm wrong, but you shouldn't be getting a positive if you've already O'd right? It looks like you had a positive on CD 12 which should mean that you'll be ovulating in the next 24-48 hours. Could it be that you actually O'd on CD 13? That would explain the 2 dpo temp drop and then maybe your second drop is a secondary estrogen surge.

Yes I am positive I O on CD11 And I always take my temp at the same time each morning except on Sun I slept in a little. My sleep was fine nothing out of the ordinary except this morning I woke up really hot and had sweat in my sleep and I don't usually get hot especially being on blood thinners lol. I hope im not getting sick. I dont feel sick. My temp is back up this morning, even higher than my other temps so idk what's going on. Guess I will just have to wait and see.

I think it's fairly common to have a temp dip around 5 or 6 DPO. I did the month I temped. You're only out if it doesn't go back up.

@kels714: Hmm it could be a number of things. I know it's possible to have a secondary estrogen surge post-O, but whenever I've had a temp drop it's meant that I didn't actually ovulate and my high temps were due to stress or poor sleep etc.... If it's unusual for you maybe you're in the same boat? Are you certain of your O date? Do you still have any fertile CM? Also, like @LindsayInNY said, was your sleep different in any way? Did you temp at the exact same time? If you temp earlier than usual that will cause a temp "drop" because BBT rises with every hour of sleep. It's really important to temp at the same time each day. Unfortunately the worst part about temping is that only time will tell what's really going on. As far as being "out", if you did truly O then I don't think a temp drop at 6dpo would indicate game over. It's too early for that. Good luck and keep us posted!

It seems too early for the drops to indicate anything really. Was your sleep different in some way those nights?

My chart is weird this month and I'm not sure what's going on. First I had only 1 day of flashing smiley then it went to 4 days of solid smiley. Opk was also positive for 3 days and that never happens for me. Then 2dpo I had a huge temp drop which has never happened. I've heard about fallback rise so I thought maybe that's it because my temps went back up but now this morning I had another huge drop at 6dpo. Does this mean I'm out and AF is starting early? I've only been charting for a few months so I'm still not sure what I'm doing. I just have never seen my temps dtop like that before. Can anyone explain this? I don't know how to link my chart or post a picture bc there isn't an option. Anyone know how I can link to my chart so people can see?
